Reporting infringement of our content

If you find our content posted somewhere without permission, please email dmca@robmontana.com with a link to the infringing material and a link to the original.

Reporting infringement on this Site

We respect the rights of copyright owners. If you believe material on this Site infringes your copyright, please email a written notice to dmca@robmontana.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice." We have not registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, and this page does not claim any special legal status. We will review notices in good faith.

A notice should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (you, as the copyright owner, or someone authorized to act for the owner);
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed;
  3. A description of the material you say is infringing and where it is on the Site (a link is best), with enough detail for us to find it;
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

Please be aware that knowingly making false claims in a notice may have legal consequences, including liability for damages.

What we do with a notice

When we receive a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material. We may share a copy of the notice with the person responsible for the material.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may email a counter-notice to dmca@robmontana.com that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address; and
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any district where we can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

If we receive a counter-notice, we may share it with the person who sent the original notice and may restore the material unless that person tells us they have filed a court action.
